Swap

A decentralized exchange uses asset pools (we will refer to them as liquidity pools throughout the document) to allow users to trade digital assets quickly and with ease. Liquidity pools must always contain some amount of an asset pair so that users can exchange assets with the pools—for example, if a user wants to swap token A for token B, they can use a liquidity pool that contains tokens A and B. The user will send token A to the pool and receive token B from the pool. This is how swapping works on a smart contract-based application.

Intella X DEX maintains liquidity pools of various token pairs for users to swap their tokens. Follow the instructions below if you'd like to swap your tokens.

How to swap tokens

  1. On the app, tap the Swap button at the bottom to navigate to the Swap page.

  2. Select the type of asset you have under Swap from and the type of asset you want to get under Swap to.

  3. Enter the amount of tokens you want to trade in under Swap from.

  4. Tap the Swap button to initiate the transaction.

  5. You will be asked to approve a one-time token smart contract access authorization. Tap Approve and pay the Transaction Fee to continue. (After you complete the Approve step, you will not be asked to go through it again.)

  6. Check your transaction details, and confirm by tapping the Swap button.

  7. Pay the remaining Transaction Fee and tap Confirm to complete the transaction.

Things too slow?

Transfer speed may differ depending on network traffic. Transactions may fail due to a network error, insufficient processing fees, or other circumstances. In such a case, you must initiate a new transaction and may have to pay additional fees.
